"Reducing the workload of the CPU also reduces case temperatures it also gives you the opportunity to use a smaller heatsink and fan combination that will actually fit in HTPC cases. Since the Axle GeForce G210 performed most of the work during testing CPU temperatures didn't rise above 5C while testing. (CPU temps at Idle were 27C). The Axle GeForce G210 at idle was 31C and with a 100% load running OCCT GPU for 20 mins peaked at 44C. Total case temperature only increased 2C from 26C to 28C."
