Interesting review. however would it warrant a bronze award if it didnt actually offer much in cooling performance which primarily is its sole function?

That's a nice read and a good review. I was expecting the FIT to offer better performance than it actually did which is a shame but at the end of the day they can't all be the best. How does this actually work?!

One other thing is I notice a lot of other coolers give you a hub already mounted on the cooler but the FIT doesn't. So you do loose a USB port which is a shame considering with most solutions you loose one but gain 3 or more.

If you need any assistance on the forums please contact me.

That's a fair point. I decided to award the Bronze as the device did offer some measureable cooling and although as you say that is it's primary function, it was also designed to be the smallest, lightest and above all else portable device - which it has achieved in spades! It did not merit any award higher than that for certain due to it's questionable performance, and the bronze was a close run thing. If one was looking for out-and-out cooling performance then clearly one of the pad type devices such as the Arctic NC which Mish reviewd recently offers far superior cooling - that's a given just by looking at the fans on the thing! But for portability whilst still giving some measure of added cooling then the FIT should be on the shortlist at the very least - there are some out there who will jump on it I'm sure!

OMG that is a beast! 2 x 140mm fans?? Must be pretty quiet too I would think!

Now that should drop temps by more than a couple of degrees...

I had some shots of that from CeBIT but they turned out really bad. This thing is massive, can put a 19" on it. Yeah Si, you would expect so!
