Nexus RX-8500 850W Power Supply Review

Posted by: James Clewer (gt_junkie) on: 07/12/2009 12:40 PM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

Conclusion:

I\'ve been mighty impressed by the RX-8500. It looks the business without needing bright leds and flashy paint jobs.

The best price at the time of writing comes in at around £120 which does make it one of the more expensive units. But i can honestly say that you are looking at a premium product here. It exudes quality, is well built, has stable rails, will fit into virtually all ATX spec cases and does its job virtually silently.

To conclude i feel i can fully recommend the Nexus RX-8500. It is an expensive item but it should last for years. Remember, you do get what you pay for and when you consider it\'s plugged into all your other expensive toys it\'s probably worth the investment.

Vortez Hardware would like to thank Nexus for supplying the RX-8500 for review.
