QPAD CT

"QPAD built its success on a grassroots commitment to the gaming community. Like you, we thrive in the madness of competition and embrace the free spirit of gaming. Our sponsorship of the Q Tour, communities, cups, tournaments, teams and LAN parties reflects this commitment. The knowledge we?ve gained has fed into our development of high quality products that have a great performance and given many a winning edge."

We have the QPAD CT up for review: " The new CT series offers you a choice between the “soft” top or “hard” top feel, depending on its thickness. You may prefer one of smaller, more compact pads or a larger pads, which increases your precision even further. With the larger pad, the size of your target equals the size of your mouse pad if you turn down the mouse sensitivity. Whether you are a hardcore gamer or work with other demanding tasks such as graphic design or large spreadsheets, you'll thrill to the task. Another storm is building around the CT series."

Technical Information

Size (Large) 405x285x4mm
Thickness 4mm
Surface Hybratek™ Coated soft top

The CT comes in a plastic tube, with technical breakdown of dimensions and materials used along with awards the pad has achieved.

The CT is a very attractive mat. Out of all the pads in this review bundle It's the one that stands out for It's sleek design. It's very eyecatching and would definately look great next to any gaming machine.

The underside of the CT pad is made of foam which sits on the desk. This sits quite well but can move slightly, this is the only disadvantage we found with this pad. The Logitech MX-518 we used on this pad worked very well on the surface. The glide and overall movement was completely unhindered and very precise especially when QPAD Glidz were fitted to the mouse. The following was taken from the QPAD website:

"All Q|Glidz™ mouse feet give you smoother glide, fantastic gaming feel and improved control and precision. Q|Glidz™ also protects your mouse and mouse pad. Just paste them to your mouse for less traction and more control."

We found the Glidz did improve performance, this enhanced the gaming experience - however slight. This is a favoured addition to the QPAD package, so well done to QPAD for including them with this pad.
