CeBIT 2010 - SteelSeries give an exclusive first look at the new 7H headset

Posted by: David Mitchelson (Mishima) on: 03/04/2010 11:12 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

SteelSeries are recognized as one of the top brands in the world of gaming and they have an abundance of high quality accessories and peripherals for those wanting to enhance their gaming experience.

I was blessed with the company of SteelSeries at CeBIT 2010 and was given an exclusive look at their brand new high-end audio solution the SteelSeries 7H.

The 7H will offer gamers an interchangeable ear-cup featuring a closed memoryfoam solution or a soft-cloth solution that will allow certain sounds through (ideal for gaming teams specifically). The 7H takes advantage of a 50mm driver giving your ears rich low, mid and high tones. Again, like with similar headsets in SteelSeries treasure trove, the microphone on the 7H is retractable, easy to conceal and braided with a volume control console.

The 7H headset will come in two versions – one with standard audio jacks and the other with USB.
