Bios

Here are some of the various screens available to you. The Maximus III Gene can be very carefully tuned. The level to which you explore this is up to you - it's a very straightforward process.

The Extreme Tweaker page greets you as soon as you get into the bios. From here you can choose to go the easy route using the 'CPU Level Up' option which is a single command overclock system. With this in place the Core i5 750 i have here can go all the way up to 3.2ghz (from 2.66ghz stock) at the push of a single button so to speak! Very clever!

In a similar fashion you can also 'Level Up' the memory too.

For those wanting more there are a myriad of options including all aspects of the board and it components. Voltage, frequency, multipler, etc are all here too!

Serious clocking is just a tweak away.

Lower section of the Extreme Tweaker page.

From the 'Extreme Tweaker' page you can call up the OC profile page. Here you can save any clock settings you have decided upon.

The OC Profile page.

The 'Advanced Options' section provides a similar selection of functions to the above including some of the RoG functionalities of the board.

The 'Power' section in the BIOS allows temperature, voltage and other aspects of the boards function to be checked.

Temp monitoring is available.

Tools provides access to the OC Profile section as well as other ASUS prorietary systems including the GO_BUTTON suite and their BIOS' EZ Flash 2 utility.
